These streets weren’t ready

These streets weren’t ready

My cousin was recently in town for a visit.  We had girl time and of course did a little shopping.  We headed to T.J.Maxx and HomeGoods and found some amazing deals.  She insisted on buying me a belated birthday gift, so I found a beautiful floral patterned rain coat, which recently came in handy given all of the rain we just had.

Today I wore my new rain coat with ShoeDazzle’s Salima street style.  This is actually the first time I have owned any red booties, and I must say they gave me life.  The color is a deep, rich, eye-catching red.  Not only did I love the way they looked, but they were also extremely comfortable.

What is your opinion on how I styled this look?

  1. You look fabulous! Love the entire look! Sooooo glad I got Salima!

  2. You rocked those red boots as they brought the whole outfit full circle making the color cord inaction complete. Like Arnold said I will be back. I really liked it in Raleigh and would visit more ( if u have me)

  3. Love your Instagram Account. Will on occasion repost some of your looks in the future, which I believe is important in helping us all, both men and women, to get back to looking our best. And incidentally, should you be in Los Angeles on April 9th of 2016, visit my booth at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, on the campus of the University of Southern California. My book signing starts promptly at 12 noon, and your “Swag Bag” has been reserved …

  4. Thank you Charles! I really appreciate your support and relate to the same sentiments we share with helping men and women look our best and learn their personal style. Congratulations on your book, and I will definitely try to make it to LA for your signing.

  5. Thanks so much Sole Sister!! My sentiments exactly!

  6. Thank you, Angela, and I’m hoping you do make it to the book festival. It would make for a great story on Instagram …
