(Doo wah, doo wah, doo wah, doo wah)
Hey my Loves!
I hope you’re enjoying the summer so far, and it hasn’t been too hot in your area. Today I’m taking a step back into the 50’s in a beautiful bold colored swing dress I found while thrifting for only $9.99. Yes, I must say I scored big time!
These full-skirted dresses swing dresses are perfect for summer, and are absolutely one of my favorite types of dresses because they instantly add a touch of glamour and femininity to your look. They’re also the perfect dress for the apple shape because they camouflage mid-sections, make the waist appear smaller like an hourglass, as well as show off legs.
Instead of pairing this dress with a classic pin curl hairdo, I opted for a straw fedora hat, which gives more of an edgy appearance. What’s your opinion of the way I styled this swing dress? Did I do it justice? Since this dress is vintage and not available, I’ve created a boutique below with various swing dress styles that you can shop.
Thanks as always for stopping by to read my blog. Until next time, stay stylish and keep swinging! 🙂
