Royal Wedding Ready

Royal Wedding Ready

Happy Saturday everyone! Did you watch the Royal Wedding?  Since I wasn’t invited I decided to feature a look fit for attending such a historical event. A trend among royal family buffs in recent years is fascinators.  These little hats were popularized by the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, and are called fascinators because they actually attach to the head.  I’m a lover of hats and have many, but this whimsical fascinator by Giovannio Hats is one of my all time favorites.  I chose this chiffon polka dot white dress by Light In The Box because its unique appearance is sophisticated, classic, fun and modern at the same time.  This timeless print will never go out of style. If you watched the wedding what are your thoughts and who do you think was best dressed?  Have a great rest of the weekend and continue to be royal!   Photography by: Sharon Bui   What I’m Wearing: // Fascinator // Giovannio New York // ZIYI Women’s Chiffon Dress – Polka Dot Split Off Shoulder Dress // Light In The Box // Pearl Ankle Strap Heels // Akira (Sold out) Similar here   Love, The Ultimate Fashionista...
When Art Meets Fashion – Part 1

When Art Meets Fashion – Part 1

Greetings everyone, I hope your week is going well so far.  I launched my blog six years ago, and during my blogging career I’ve been blessed to work with some of the most amazing photographers.  My fashion styling and blogging business is my ministry, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt God has connected me with these great talents who have truly brought out the best in me.  It’s one thing to style and blog, but if you don’t have the right eyes to present your work correctly you have nothing. A few weeks ago a shoot happened which was simply a work of art!  I had the absolute honor to work with Daniel Hadley of Daniel J Studios, based in Wilmington, NC.  Daniel is a fashion bloggers dream photographer!  For example, he listened to my desires and expectations for the shoot, found me the most AMAZING backdrops, had patience during the shoot and made it fun, and also directed me to pose in various ways that made me look fabulous.  He even hurt his leg during our shoot, and was so unbothered, but still finished the shoot like a BOSS! 🙂 The icing on cake was discovering Daniel is man of God and devout Christian who is using his God-given gifts to save money to build a church in Wilmington.  I love how Daniel honors the Lord in everything he does, and I pray for his business to continue to endure and be successful by God’s grace. Since there were so many beautiful photos from the shoot, I decided to do a blog in two parts. ...
French Rivera Style

French Rivera Style

Hey Lovelies, Who else is ready for a vacation besides me?  Lately I’ve been daydreaming about going back to the French Rivera, so what better way to live out my dreams than to provide style inspiration on what to wear to this dreamy French region, also known as Côte d’Azur. First things first… You HAVE to take a straw hat! It’s just a requirement since you’ll be soaking up the sun.  It’s also necessary to protect your hair and skin (particularly on your face) from the not so great effects of the sun.  Secondly, choose a dress that shows a little skin.  After all HELLO, you are on vacation! 🙂 Last but not least, don’t forget your cute straw tote, with a small scarf added for extra flair.  Aside from being cute, the tote is functional as you travel picking up small souvenirs that you’ll bring back to me as a thank you. Just kidding, but seriously totes are so handy when traveling. Well, it was fun while it lasted, but for now I must get back to work and back to reality.  A girl can dream, can’t she?  If you make it to the French Rivera before I do, I’m sure you’re going to have an amazingly stylish time! Jump To It

Jump To It

Hey Loves, Lately I’ve been loving how easy it is to get dressed with jumpsuits because of how much time they save.  Aside from saving time, they’re comfortable and stylish.  Jumpsuits have been around forever, and is a trend that we will continue to see throughout spring and summer this year.  What I love about them the most is there’s a style for every body type.  I’d love to personally work with and show you what’s best for you.  If you’re interested in personal styling services, please don’t hesitate to contact me.  We don’t have to reside in the same area. Today I’m featuring this Denim Fringed Hem Jumpsuit by ShoeDazzle, which I’ve paired with a lace duster and snake print stilettos.  For a more casual look, this jumpsuit would also look great with a sneaker. Are you a fan of jumpsuits?  I know I’ll be wearing various types of jumpsuits during the upcoming season.  Wishing you a fabulous rest of the week! Cheers to New Beginnings

Cheers to New Beginnings

Happy Sunday Loves, This is the last post for 2017 and I’m making a GRAND entrance into the new year.  This fox fur stole, velvet dress, and fairytale pumps is the perfect look for a New Years Gala.  I hope you’ve enjoyed my “Glitz and Glam Holiday Series”, and the style inspiration I have provided has been a benefit in some way. I’d like to take this time to thank God for without him I’m nothing! Thank you also to each and everyone who has believed in me, supported me in any way, not given up on me, and allowing me to share my style with you.  I don’t take that for granted.  I look forward to providing more style inspiration in 2018. Happy New Year to you and your families, and Cheers to New Beginnings in 2018!
