Recappng the triFABB meet up and Southern Women’s Show

April was such a phenomenal month!  I had a golden opportunity to be a part of the Southern Women’s Show Raleigh.  If you’ve never heard of it before, it’s the huge 3 day event which showcases garments, cosmetics and beauty products.  It also focuses on apparel and fashion accessories, beauty and fragrance, confections and gift assortments, womens sports teams, dating services, fitness & equipment, gems and jewelry, gifts and handicrafts, sporting goods, toys and games industries, and more. Needless to say, I was super excited to not only attend the show for the first time, but also model in triFABB “Dressing For You!” Fashion Show, hosted by blogger friend Molly Stillman, of stillbeingmolly. The fun began with the triFABB Blogger meet up at the Jim Graham Building on the NC State Fair Grounds on the Thursday evening before the Southern Woman’s Show began.  What made this meet up so cool was it took place right beside the main fashion stage, so we had a chance to take a sneak peek of the stage as well as rehearse for the show. The delicious food such as chicken strips, pita bread, tossed salads, and refreshing beverages were provided by PDQ and Zoe’s. The swag bags were absolutely fabulous and featured all types of fancy gifts, such as a three-tiered Bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, tons of fragrance and beauty items from Belk, a bottle of wine from Little Black Dress Wines, and all sorts of other goodies. The next three days of the Southern Women’s Show were beyond words! Have you ever been to a fashion show and loved the...
Spectacular night at The Southern Blog Society Meet Up

Spectacular night at The Southern Blog Society Meet Up

Last night I had a blast with the fabulous girls of The Southern Blog Society for a Meet Up at Kendra Scott in Durham, NC.   The event was organized by Nikki Richardson of Bedazzles After Dark blog and Emily of Life With Emily Blog. It was so exciting to see everyone, and finally meet some of the gorgeous bloggers I follow and talk to, but never had a chance to meet face to face.  While chatting we enjoyed delicious treats and cocktails, and also previewed Kendra Scott’s new Via Maya 2015 Summer line.  I have my eye on several statement necklaces that I plan on adding to my wardrobe. There was a mini photo booth, and the amazing Em Grey from Em Grey Photography snapping photos.  I felt so much love from these talented group of girls who constantly are the source of my inspiration. This was such a fun night!!!  I can’t wait until the next one! Love, The Ultimate...
Recapping the Royalty, Rock Stars and Artists Party at Saks Fifth Avenue Raleigh

Recapping the Royalty, Rock Stars and Artists Party at Saks Fifth Avenue Raleigh

Happy Monday Guys! There’s only one word to describe my last Saturday afternoon, and that’s EPIC!  Bear with me because there are lots of pictures in this post… I was invited to attend the Royalty, Rock Stars and Artists Party at Saks Fifth Avenue in Raleigh, NC.  This fashion show featured all the new contemporary fashion trends for the spring from top designers such as Alice+Olivia, Rebecca Taylor, and BCBG.  I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I had.  There was a DJ playing the latest upbeat music, which made you want to hit the dance floor.  Then there were cocktails – Oooh the cocktails! There were three different flavors of champagne to choose from depending on your mood, and delicious mouth-watering french macarons also in three flavors.  I wanted to park a permanent seat at the cocktail area, but didn’t want to miss the show.   As promised here are a few behind the scene photos of the clothing for the show. I highly recommend paying Saks a visit to see the new spring fashion trends up close.  You’ll be sure to find something you absolutely love there! Love, The Ultimate Fashionista...
Ladies Night Out – Raleigh Blog Society

Ladies Night Out – Raleigh Blog Society

Singing “Oh yes it’s Ladies Night, and the feelings right!  Oh yes it’s Ladies Night! Oh, what a night!” That’s how I felt last Thursday night when met the gorgeous ladies of Raleigh Blog Society in downtown Apex for a fun night of sweet treats and shopping.  It was my first event with the group and I was so excited to meet everyone.   We met at Moon and Lola in Apex, NC and the fun quickly began. Upon first arriving there I met a few of the ladies and we had introductions.  They were all extremely nice and it was great talking about our blogs.  We enjoyed small treats and sips courtesy of Moon and Lola.  Every event I’ve attended there has been fabulous and I always love the decor.   After enjoying the treats, we headed to the streets to check out some of the other stores who were participating in the 20% discount The Raleigh Blog Society founder had negotiated for us.  Everyone was moving at their own pace, but it was so much fun to meet up with other bloggers in other stores from time to time.   All the store owners were extremely pleasant and helpful. We shopped until our hearts content, which is why I don’t have many photos of the bloggers to post.   Everyone had a great evening, we’re already talking about our next event! Love, The Ultimate Fashionista...
triFABB March Madness Meetup – and boy was it MAD!

triFABB March Madness Meetup – and boy was it MAD!

If you wanna hear about a jaw dropping, overthetop, fabulous bloggers meetup keep reading.  As a member of triFABB, I was invited to my first ever triFABB event entitled triFABB March Madness Meetup – Girls Night Out held last Wednesday evening.  Can you say it truly was the “MAD” in Madness? Of course in a good way! In case you don’t know, triFABB stands for Triangle Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle Bloggers. The event had been planned for months, and it was obvious from the moment I arrived.  One of the things that made it so unique was it’s location.  It was in a fabulous model home in a new development in Chapel Hill, NC called Briar Chapel Community.  Not only did the home look spectacular, it was also green.  Too cool and that alone had my vote. Once I entered into the home, there were vendors galore, and not the dry type you just want to hide under a rock when you see.  I’m talking massage chairs, BeachBody, Rodan + Fields, Arbonne, Linda Mendible Designs, Peachy Keen Boutique, Noonday Collection, The Mighty River Project (gorgeous handmade textiles, jewelry, and handwoven baskets from Uganda) and to top it off a Photobooth! For as long Photobooths have been around, I was probably the only one in the world who had never tried it, so tonight was gonna be my chance 😀 When I walked into the kitchen area and saw a spread like no other I was beside myself.  I hadn’t eaten since breakfast and my eyeballs nearly popped out of my head.  I seriously had to contain myself.  All of...
