Conquer The World in a Statement Jumpsuit

Conquer The World in a Statement Jumpsuit

Hello my Loves, I hope you’re having an excellent day and great start to the week!  Have you considered wearing a wide-leg jumpsuit that finishes just above the ground? If not you may want to reconsider, as it will add some serious style to your wardrobe.  This Printed Crossbody Jumpsuit by ShoeDazzle will have you feeling like conquering the world and glamorous all at the same time.  There’s a jumpsuit style for every body type, but this style looks great if you’re tall.  If you’re short I recommend a slim, straight-leg, cropped style. I’ll admit, most people don’t like jumpsuits because they’re not exactly  the most convenient when it’s time to go. LOL! On top of that they can be tricky to pull off, but if you find the right style for your body type they are so worth it because they create such a striking look. It Don’t Mean A Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing

It Don’t Mean A Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing

(Doo wah, doo wah, doo wah, doo wah) Hey my Loves! I hope you’re enjoying the summer so far, and it hasn’t been too hot in your area.  Today I’m taking a step back into the 50’s in a beautiful bold colored swing dress I found while thrifting for only $9.99.  Yes, I must say I scored big time! These full-skirted dresses swing dresses are perfect for summer, and are absolutely one of my favorite types of dresses because they instantly add a touch of glamour and femininity to your look.  They’re also the perfect dress for the apple shape because they camouflage mid-sections, make the waist appear smaller like an hourglass, as well as show off legs. Instead of pairing this dress with a classic pin curl hairdo, I opted for a straw fedora hat, which gives more of an edgy appearance.  What’s your opinion of the way I styled this swing dress?  Did I do it justice?  Since this dress is vintage and not available, I’ve created a boutique below with various swing dress styles that you can shop. Thanks as always for stopping by to read my blog.  Until next time, stay stylish and keep swinging! 🙂 Photography by:  GloryRoze Photography   [show_boutique_widget id=”625967″]   What I Am Wearing: // Straw Hat // T.J.Maxx //Swing Dress // Vintage // Tamia in white // ShoeDazzle // Straw Bag // Vintage   Love, The Ultimate...

Smokin’

Smokin’

Hello Loves, This red jumpsuit is Smokin’!  A jumpsuit should be a once piece staple in every woman’s closet because they’re easy to wear, comfortable, flattering and stylish.  One of the things I really love is the flexibility.  You can also dress them up or down depending on the occasion. When selecting a jumpsuit, keep the following tips in mind: Purchase the right length, and select the right shoes.  If the jumpsuit is too long, have it hemmed to fit the shoes you will wear the most. Make sure it defines your waist.  If you have a little extra weight in your waist, I suggest adding a belt which will emphasize it more and make you look slimmer.  You can also select a jumpsuit with a higher waistline to solve this issue. Buy the right fit and size.  If you’re fuller on top try a looser style.  If you’re fuller on the bottom, select a jumpsuit with a wide leg.  If you’re short, look for a jumpsuit with more of a narrow silhouette. Buy a solid color.  A single color elongates the body, and creates a flattering looking profile. This jumpsuit exudes confidence and undeniable glam.  The ruffle and one shoulder is so feminine and flirty creating a look that’s polished, put-together, and sophisticated.  Be prepared to stop traffic in this jumpsuit because it’s just that haute! Jump To It

Jump To It

I have a confession.  My latest obsession is with jumpsuits.  Please tell me I’m not in this alone 🙂 What’s not to love about these gigantic adult glammed up onesies, other than the occasional inconvenience of having to use a public restroom?  For me the benefit outweighs the trouble.  So let’s talk about three reasons why every woman should own a jumpsuit. Reason #1:  They are all-in-one.  You literally don’t have to think about what to pair them with. Reason #2:  They can be easily dressed up or down.  You can easily add a cool blazer or sweater, or opt for sandals instead of heels which completely changes the look. Reason #3:  They are easy to pack.  This one speaks for itself.   Just a few folds and Wala!  You have your entire outfit without the hassle of trying to figure it all out. I found this cool jumpsuit at one of my favorite local consignment shops.  I love the bold geometric pattern, which almost reminds me of a leopard, but not quite.  I paired this with my mama’s vintage hat and it gives it a totally different look.  Instant pizzaz! So ladies, don’t be afraid to try a jumpsuit.  I promise you there’s one out there for everyone!
