Sea of Sunflowers
Happy Saturday Loves, I hope your summer is off to a great start! Today I’m hanging out with the happiest flower on earth. Lost in a sea of these sunflowers reflecting on their beauty, rich history and meaning. The sunflower symbolizes adoration, loyalty and longevity, which are attributes I cherish and uphold. And speaking of adore, sundress season is here and I love these type of pretty dresses in the summertime. This sexy sleeveless floral maxi dress by ShoeDazzle features a plunging V-neck, ruffle trim detail, and high front slit. The colors are very vibrant and it’s cool and breezy, which is definitely needed in the hot temperatures we’ve been having already. I may look calm and collective up to now, but in case you’re wondering why I’m laughing so hard in this next shot, it’s because I thought my ponytail was a bee! I screamed out loud a few times throughout the rest of the shoot, and my photographer thought I was cray. LOL! I really wish y’all could be behind the scenes some days so you can see what really goes into these shoots. They can be so hilarious. I wouldn’t trade it for the world though. Hello my Loves! I want to wish each and every one of you a Happy Valentine’s Day (whether you’re in love or not). I prefer staying in on Valentine’s Day, but if I were going out to some where fancy I’d choose to wear this vintage dress from Boot & Trunk because it’s perfect for a romantic date. Muff Mania
Happy Friday everyone! It’s been several weeks since my last blog post and I’m finally back after a short hiatus. Sometimes it’s just good to pause from social media and reenergize. Today I’m providing vintage style inspiration for my favorite winter accessory, to deal with the chilly weather we’ve been experiencing lately. This handy cold weather accessory, called a “muff” is classic, fun, and functional. The muff has been around for quite some time, and serves as both a hand warmer and purse all in one. I love how easy it is to slip my hands into one for a quick warm up. Additionally, most vintage muffs have a zipper inside making them convenient for holding small important items us ladies just can’t live without. Muffs are available in all types of patterns and textures, which further add to their character. As you can see, I’m wearing my favorite leopard pattern, but I also adore a gorgeous fur style as well. Do you currently own a muff? If not, would you consider wearing one?
