Be My Valentine

Be My Valentine

Hello my Loves! I want to wish each and every one of you a Happy Valentine’s Day (whether you’re in love or not).  I prefer staying in on Valentine’s Day, but if I were going out to some where fancy I’d choose to wear this vintage dress from Boot & Trunk because it’s perfect for a romantic date.  Truth is, I’ll be at home watching Netflix and chilling, but I really needed an excuse to wear this gorgeous dress. lol. Whatever you choose to do today, I hope your day is filled with so much love that your cup runneth over.  Always remember to love you first, and if no one has told you they love you, I’ll be the first to do so.  I love you!   Photography by: Sharon Bui What I’m Wearing: // Vintage Dress // Boot & Trunk // Clutch // Vintage (old) // Iridescent Lock and Key Pump (Tahnee) // ShoeDazzle   Love, The Ultimate...
A Day to Celebrate Love!

A Day to Celebrate Love!

As long as I have been wearing these colors, I was surprised to learn their true meaning.  The color red energizes, excites the emotions, exudes a strong and powerful presence, and is the color of love.  Pink on the other hand is feminine, romantic, and represents compassion, nurturing and universal love.  It tones down the physical passion of red replacing it with a gentle loving energy.  Knowing the meaning of these colors, and combining them together made for a great balance of energy. This year for Valentine’s Day I decided to do something different and celebrate a day of love by throwing a Girls Night In party.  The dress code is red and pink.  We’re going to play games, listen to music, watch movies, and just have fun!  Don’t get it twisted, it’s not because we’re a desperate bunch of losers who can’t get dates.   Instead, it’s my way of showing my girlfriends how much I love and appreciate them by spending time.  Showing love isn’t always a fancy dinner and expensive gifts, and it definitely doesn’t need a specific day to celebrate it.  After all, love can’t be limited to a single day! How ever you may decide to spend your day, I hope it’s filled with lots...
