If you wanna hear about a jaw dropping, overthetop, fabulous bloggers meetup keep reading. As a member of triFABB, I was invited to my first ever triFABB event entitled triFABB March Madness Meetup – Girls Night Out held last Wednesday evening. Can you say it truly was the “MAD” in Madness? Of course in a good way!
In case you don’t know, triFABB stands for Triangle Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle Bloggers.
The event had been planned for months, and it was obvious from the moment I arrived. One of the things that made it so unique was it’s location. It was in a fabulous model home in a new development in Chapel Hill, NC called Briar Chapel Community. Not only did the home look spectacular, it was also green. Too cool and that alone had my vote.
Once I entered into the home, there were vendors galore, and not the dry type you just want to hide under a rock when you see. I’m talking massage chairs, BeachBody, Rodan + Fields, Arbonne, Linda Mendible Designs, Peachy Keen Boutique, Noonday Collection, The Mighty River Project (gorgeous handmade textiles, jewelry, and handwoven baskets from Uganda) and to top it off a Photobooth!
For as long Photobooths have been around, I was probably the only one in the world who had never tried it, so tonight was gonna be my chance 😀
When I walked into the kitchen area and saw a spread like no other I was beside myself. I hadn’t eaten since breakfast and my eyeballs nearly popped out of my head. I seriously had to contain myself. All of the food, desserts, and wine and chocolate bar were absolutely delicious.
The featured charity was an amazing organization called the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. They talked about how there’s a need to donate platelets for cancer patients. If you schedule a Platelet Party for three or more people to donate, they will actually provide free pizza a free movie ticket. How cool is that? They’re also having a race on Saturday, April 18 called the Tar Heel 10 Miler and are looking for volunteers.
There was even a raffle of two VISA gift cards and 100 percent of the proceeds went to the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. As a blogger, it was awesome to be among people who have the same passion and drive. Pairing this with being able to shop, mingle, eat, sip, laugh, and make new friends meant I was on cloud nine.
Last but not least, here are the photos of me acting silly and basking in the moment of my first Photobooth experience.
Love,
The Ultimate Fashionista
