People tend to shy away from the black and yellow combination because they feel it leads to looking like a bumblebee.  I just happen to love the color combination together.  Although the colors are basic, the combination of the black and yellow can be a head turner.  Adding another color such as white can really make an outfit pop.

Today’s outfit is a combination of vintage and new pieces.  My high side slit pencil skirt is vintage.  It’s a classic piece I’ve owned for quite some time.  The long midi length is perfect and the split although a little edgy, is still classy.  As I’ve said before, don’t be afraid to flaunt your best features in good taste.  The shoes by ShoeDazzle are just plain amazing!  I love the black and white stripes against the bright yellow toe.  These bad boys sold out immediately.  ShoeDazzle and JustFab offer such unique shoes, you have to grab them immediately or you will miss out.

As always I encourage you all to take risks with your wardrobe.  Try something that’s a bit outside of your comfort zone, however make sure your still comfortable in it.  Until next time, “Bee Beautiful”!
