I can’t believe it’s almost the end of January and sadly my Cape series is coming to an end. I’ve had so much fun sharing various ways to wear capes this season. I truly hope you’ve been inspired by at least one of the outfits I’ve shared. Since many of the capes I’ve shared so far have been a bit formal, today’s post provides a twist on a vintage tartan plaid wool cape that’s more casual.
I decided to pair my cape with flared jeans. While this mod look is fun, it’s still elegant and chic. Yes, jeans can be chic! An outfit like this can easily be worn on a casual day out with friends. If you don’t wear heels, you can wear low-mid heel ankle boots or even flats.
Theres so many reasons to add a cape to your wardrobe. They’re the perfect transitional piece that you can rock over just about anything. I also love how flattering they are to all body types. If you don’t own one already, I recommend getting your hands on one ASAP. I promise you’ll enjoy it for many years to come!
