Over The Top Glam

Happy Fashion Friday!

I felt like getting a little unconventional with my outfit today.  Lately I’ve been mixing stripes with flowers, but decided to take it up a notch.  Similar to leopard, stripes can be treated like a neutral, and be mixed with various other patterns, usually of the same color scheme.  What makes this outfit beyond normal is the two different colors of stripes on stripes.

With stripes on stripes, if you stay within the same complementary color scheme, the outfit will not clash.  I paired these stripes with a fun tulle t-shirt I found for $12 while thrifting.

I scored big time with this find!

Stripes on stripes can be a bit risky, but fashion is all about taking risks!  What do you think?  Would you try to recreate this look?
