Stripe Tease
Today I’m sharing one of my favorite outfits that’s appropriate to wear as we transition into spring. Stripes have always been near and dear to my heart because there are infinite ways to wear them. I’ve styled this look featuring a bold chunky striped jacket with a black tulle skirt, mixing a variety of textures, shapes and patterns. Of course I kept with my trend of topping it off with a whimsical vintage hat. What I love about this look is that it’s eye-catching and can be a fun way to express yourself. I realize this is not your regular look, but I think you know by now that I don’t consider myself regular. Every now and then it’s great to step out of your comfort zone! Mad For Plaid
It’s no secret how much I love mixing prints, but today I decided a different mix that’s not typically seen. I’m mad for plaid y’all! Yes I broke the fashion rules that tell you to avoid pairing plaids, but who made those rules any way? I decided to mix this larger buffalo plaid print with a smaller tartan print for an unexpected twist on this pattern. So why don’t you take the plaid trend and give it an update?
