Today I had a chance to go to the Christ Lyke Clothing Grand Opening. The store is located on the first floor of the Triangle Town Center Mall in Raleigh, NC just a few doors down from Barnes and Noble. They also have a kiosk in The Streets at Southpoint in Durham, NC. I wanted to see what all the hype was about the t-shirts I had been seeing everyone wear lately. Boy was I in for a treat! When I first walked in I was totally impressed by the very nice staff and all of the lovely merchandise showcasing a love for Christ. That in and of itself was well worth the trip to the mall! Secondly, not only did they sell t-shirts with bible scriptures and powerful messages of the gospel on them, but they also had a lot of other unique items such as hats, backpacks, children’s clothing, games, and jewelry. My personal favorite was a Christian Locket that can actually be custom-made in three easy steps. There is something for everyone at the store, and if you love Christ you will definitely find something you love there. What a great way to spread the good news and Gospel of Jesus Christ! I definitely fell in love with the store and plan to visit again soon. 1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. I can honestly say out of all the colors I typically wear, this bold bright orange dress was only one of a few orange garments in my closet. There used to be such a negative association attached to wearing orange and black, which I’m sure is from Halloween. Think about it! No one wants to walk around looking like a big ole pumpkin. Over the past few years, orange exploded on the fashion scene and became more popular due to two major reasons. The first is because of the Orange is the New Black Netflix original series based on the book of the same title. The ratings generated more viewers in its first week than any other Netflix original series, and the catchy title is what caused orange to be first looked at from a fashion standpoint. Orange then made its debut and ruled the runways at New York Fashion week Spring 2014, and has been popular ever since. I think it’s here to stay! Are you a fan or orange? Have you tried introducing anything orange into your wardrobe? I would love to read your comments below. Happy Monday! For today’s style inspiration, I’m bringing back the classic Art Deco style with a modern-day twist. The Art Deco style started in the early 1920’s and lasted until right before World War II. During that time, there was a sense of excitement and expectancy with anticipation of a future filled with promise. The women’s liberation movement, a prosperous economy, and key improvements in technology were attributes that led to progressive modernity, luxury and leisure – all of which was a new way of life. The fashion during that time was simply gorgeous! I’m wearing a dramatic asymmetrical winter white cloche hat, adorned with feathers and diamonds, which I paired with a luxurious yellow cape stole wrap. Both pieces are typical of the Art Deco style. The cape stole wrap is usually worn over a party dress or ball gown, but for a more up to date look I kept with the same color scheme and paired it with a pencil skirt. It just goes to show you can create a modern look with a little vintage flair. I hope it inspires you to bring back pieces from the past and incorporate them into your wardrobe today. Here are the outfit details. Hat: Sylvia Cape Stole Wrap: Bergama Fine Furs Skirt: JCrew Collection Heels: Stuart Weitzman Have a wonderful week my Loves! Love, The Ultimate...

Being a BOSS is a frame of mind! Today I had a business meeting and wore my Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps. These pumps give me a pioneering spirit, make me feel energized, excite my emotions and motivate me to take action. The Pigalle is named after one of Louboutin’s favorite neighborhoods in Paris. One of his most iconic styles, they have been around for a while, but they will always be my favorite. I paired my Pigalle’s with a grey skirt and red blouse and felt like a BOSS. The Christian Louboutin Pigalle can be found here. I hope you like them as much as I do! 🙂 Other outfit details: Blouse: Bryan Bradley Skirt: L.A.M.B Handbag: Dover (Vintage) (Revolver Boutique) Love, The Ultimate...
